December 12, 2002 - 6:49 p.m.

i just got home, at 6:30 p.m. i'll explain the significance of this in a bit. but first, let me say that i came home to a phone message from urie, who lives in scotland. i immediately phoned her.

"what time is it there?" she said.
uh-oh.
"why, what time is it there?" i replied.
"7 a.m."
whoops. she said she'll call back later.

anyhoo, back to the first bit. 6:30 p.m. was sigificant because today was the second day of a two-day modeling job, for which i was paid $180 an hour (!!!). i was supposed to be home by 3:30, but i wasn't complaining. the bad part is that i didn't get to take pictures of the lucksmiths as planned. the good part is that i made an extra $540. yikes, that is a lot of money. the grand total for today and yesterday should be well over $2,000, which will help pay for rent. oh yeah, and a cute new pair of shoes, too - black mary janes with low wooden heels.

tomorrow, i have an interview at 8:30 a.m. wish me luck, but if possible, could you wish a little more luck in the direction of the lonely planet job instead? i'd prefer it. oh, and thanks.
